Our last visit in this area was held on 13.04.2019. Therefore this visit was scheduled for thorough campaigning of our activities and display of accident help line number at all petrol pumps, Dhaba, local shops, Restaurants wherever public movement is found. We were also asked to find out suitable school, colleges or educational institutions to raise our proposal for conducting First aid and basic life support training. We arrived atKolaghat station at around 9:00 AM andhired a local vehicle for campaigning. First, we moved to the area which is under Bagnan Police Jurisdiction, covering a stretch of 12 km. on NH-16 (6). We visited each and every possible place where we can install our Banner, posters, sign boards, depicting our accident help line number for free ambulance services to help Road Traffic Accident Victims. In the same manner we publicized our help line number in the entire area under Kolaghat ( 10 Km ) Police station, , Panskura Police station ( 19 km.) and finally Debra Police station ( 16 km.) We also spoke with the officer of each police station to seek their cooperation in finding out suitable institutions where we can organize training on BLS and First aid. We personally visited Bagnan Ananda NiketonVidyaMandir and talk with Asst. Head Master, Mr. Santi NathDolui in absence of Head Master, Mr. SoumendraNath Ghosh. Mr. Dolui and few teachers who were with him expressed their interest in our subject matter, as their students have the experience of attending “ Road Safety Awareness Programme” but never had any scope of joining BLS training programme. They asked us to get in touch in the month of January, 2020 after their final examination and in the very beginning of new session. Next we went to VivekJoytiCollege (B.Ed and D.Ed) at Mechogram under Panskura PS. Mr Prafulla Kumar Patra, the owner of the college, appreciated and accepted our proposal to organise BLS and CPR program at their college. They also prefer to hold the program in the month of January 2020. We found one new Ambulance atBagnan Hospital premises and briefed him all the conditions after stating in details about our project.They will inform us later. Overall, we have visited 17 petrol pumps, 45 hotels &dhabas, 50 local shops and 100 people.
