Highway Rescue Project is the first initiative for trauma care of accident victim on highways of India. It ensures rescue, evacuation and pre- hospital care for accident victims on Indian roads

This Project (HRP) focuses on pre-hospital care and initiation of treatment within the "golden hour" - the first hour after an accident

Mapping the highways, incorporating each and every named and unnamed landmark by extensive visits on the highways, setting up 24 X 7 operating control room equipped with an advanced software system( without use of GPS, a very costly product for an NGO) to find out the nearest ambulance service providers, informing nearest located hospital or medical centers to start preparation to receive potential victims and communication with the concerned police station in order to ensure their cooperation for future follow up with the cases .
